- Wire and cable with Copper, multistrand and insulating sheath used allover the crane

Semi gantry Crane control mode:
- Pendant: control the actions of all mechanisms by pressing the buttons
- Remote control: control the actions of all mechanisms with industrial remote control
- Cabin control: control the actions of all mechanisms with the buttons, master switches, cam controller or linkage in the cabin
The crane could also have two sets control devices, such as: pendant + remote control or cabin + remote control. Two control modes could not be used together for safety.
Semi gantry crane's electric protection system:
The semi-gantry crane's electric protection system ensures safety and reliability through various features:
- Short Circuit Protection: It employs an automatic air-breaker switch in the main power circuit to protect the control circuit from short circuits.
- Voltage-Loss Protection: This function requires the start button to be repressed after a power restoration to prevent unintended crane operation.
- Emergency Power Switch: The crane has a rotating reset-type emergency power switch, conveniently located for quick power shutdown in emergencies.
- Overload Limiter: It issues a hint alarm at 90% of the rated load capacity and cuts power for lifting, accompanied by a prohibitive alarm at 110% of the rated load capacity. The sensor is resilient, moistureproof, anti-seismic, and interference-resistant.
- Position Limiter: Fire and traveling limiters restrict lifting height, protect the controller, and ensure safe crane movement. Wind-proof rail clamps outdoors interlock with the main power switch, preventing crane startup while locked.
- Zero Position and Interlock Protection: The cabin control crane prevents motor automatic operation after power restoration, and interlocking door and switches prevent accidents when doors open suddenly as the crane starts.
- Fault Protection: In case of three-phase faults or voltage issues, the system automatically cuts off the main power, safeguarding people and equipment.
- Ground Protection: The crane, metal shell, raceway, and electric equipment components are grounded for safety. Grounding resistance is ≤4Ω, and the crane rails serve as ground wires. Insulation resistance to ground is ≥1MΩ at normal temperature (measured with a 500V megger).
