1 ton overhead crane installation steps:

  • Check its main structure for test connection of end beam;
  • Recheck the dimension of main structure for bridge lifting and connection;
  • Lift the components and accessory box to the bridge and install in sequence;
  • Install the cab, cab platform, ladder and overhaul crane cage;
  • Install the conductive column and railing;
  • Install the end beam railing and active side railing;
  • Install the hook block frame;
  • Installation of electrical equipment;
  • Installation of safety equipment;
  • 1Self-check, power on and first debugging of no-load test run;
  • Wire rope twining;
  • Overall crane debugging (esp. safety equipment).

1 ton overhead crane on-site inspection:

  1. Make sure the installation site and road are safe, clear the obstacles and ponding, set rail and cover holes when necessary, etc.
  2. Check the storage yard of crane parts and should keep dry and also can protect from the rain and weather.
  3. Check the crane beam; the flat position, elevation and span of embedded part; the flatness, straightness and parallelism of surface. Make sure all of them meet the design and installation requirements.

1 ton overhead crane inspection before crane operation:

   Before crane test run, must be checked it as follows:
  1. The installation of electrical system, safety interlock device, bumper, controller, lighting and signal system, etc should meet the requirement with sensitive and accurate movement.
  2. The fixation of wire rope ends and its twining on the hook, lifting object, pulley group and drum should be correct and reliable.
  3. The performance, specification and quantity of the oil and grease used on the reducer and every lubricating point should conforms with the regulations in the equipment technical documents.
  4. The bolts connection of each components should be tightened without loose.
  5. Run the break wheels of each travelling mechanism, should run the last axle of the rotational system one round without blocking.
  6. Check the motor positive and negative rotation meet the requirement or not, especially the rotation direction of two motors of the crane travelling mechanism must be consistent. After make sure the crane is totally normal, it can do test run. The railing door of end beam, platform door and hatch cover should be closed. The control handle should be in zero position, then close the switch of protection cabinet, then press the start button and processing circuit, then the crane enter operating preparation.

1 ton overhead crane operating instructions:

  1. Familiarize yourself with the controls: Understand the functions of each control button or lever on the crane, such as hoist, trolley, and bridge movements.
  2. Perform pre-operation checks: Before using the crane, inspect it for any visible damage, ensure that all safety devices are in place and functional, and verify that the load capacity is suitable for the intended task.
  3. Clear the area: Make sure the area beneath the crane is clear of any personnel or obstacles before starting any movements.
  4. Use proper lifting techniques: Attach the load securely to the lifting device, ensuring it is balanced and within the crane's specified capacity. Avoid sudden movements and use slow, controlled motions during lifting and positioning.
  5. Communicate effectively: Establish clear communication with other workers involved in the operation, using hand signals or radio communication if necessary.
  6. Observe safety precautions: Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats and safety harnesses. Be aware of your surroundings and follow all safety guidelines and regulations.

1 ton overhead crane composition parts:

  • Bridge: The bridge is the main horizontal beam that spans the gap between two parallel runways and supports the trolley and hoist.
  • Runway: The runway is a pair of parallel rails on which the crane travels back and forth.
  • Hoist: The hoist is the lifting mechanism that raises and lowers the load. It typically consists of a motor, drum, wire rope, and hook.
  • Trolley: The trolley is the mechanism that moves the hoist horizontally along the bridge.
  • End trucks: The end trucks are the wheeled assemblies that support the bridge and allow it to travel along the runway.
  • Controls: The controls are the buttons, levers, or switches used to operate the crane.
  • Electrical system: The electrical system includes the wiring, motors, and other components necessary to power and control the crane.
  • Safety features: Safety features may include limit switches, overload protection, emergency stop buttons, and warning lights or alarms.

Please note that specific overhead crane models may have additional or different parts depending on their design and intended use.
